Is your initial advice and lease reviews or feasibility reports really free?
Yes, initial contact and advice is always free, including lease reviews for telecommunication base station sites. We can sometimes offer free feasibility reports for renewable energy sites (subject to demand). We will always advise you if and when costs will be incurred, prior to carrying out any work. We advise you and await your further instruction. Often we can claim our fees direct from the developer.

What's included in the Solar or Wind / renewables Feasibility Report that you offer?
Our report risk assesses your site to see if it is possible to accommodate a renewable energy installation. This review covers many considerations and will put you in a stronger position if you are approached by renewable energy operators and developers or their agents.
How do I know if my land is suitable for a renewable energy farm either solar or wind or another?
Simply contact us today and we can offer free initial advice on your next steps. We can conduct a feasibility report which can be valuable if your site is feasible and you go forward to negotiate with a developer.
I own land that could be a possible site for a solar farm but I don't have the funds to develop a scheme. Is there anything I can do?
Yes, we work with solar farm investors who would be interested in your site. They would develop and operate the scheme and pay you an annual rent. You could agree a power purchase agreement with the operator giving you the opportunity to use cheaper energy. I've been contacted by a surveyor from a mobile phone operator, what should I do?
Contact us before responding to the operators agent. We will advise you how to proceed. Do not give access to your land, even for a simple look and survey. If you have an existing installation on your land, again contact us first. We can review your agreement and provide you with a FREE report and advise you on how to proceed.
Who pays Pintail Estates' fees?
In most cases we can claim our fees directly from the mobile phone operators. If we identify that a piece of work requires a fee from you, then we advise you before any costs are incurred and await your further instruction.
I have a telecoms site on my land and I am also interested in accommodating a renewable energy farm. Will I be able to earn additional rent from a wind or solar farm?
Contact us and we will review your telecoms agreement for FREE and advise you on your next steps, and the potential additional income streams.
